SBU Confirms Underwater TNT Strike on Crimean Bridge
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said it damaged the Crimean Bridge early Tuesday using underwater explosives, the third such attack on the key Russian supply route since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022. US to Close All But One Military Base in Syria, Says Special Envoy
The United States has begun scaling down its military presence in Syria, planning to reduce from eight bases to one, U.S. Special Envoy Thomas Barrack said in an interview with Turkish broadcaster NTV. “We’ve gone from eight bases to five to three. We’ll eventually go to one,” Barrack said. “What I can assure you is that our current Syria policy will not be close to the Syria policy of the last 100 years, because none of these have worked.” (Read More)
Rockets Fired from Syria Hit Golan Heights, Israel Responds
Two rockets fired from southern Syria landed in open areas of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights Tuesday night, triggering sirens but causing no injuries or damage, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). US Army Deploys K1000 Drone in Philippine Training Exercise

US Citizen Sentenced to 10 Years for Joining ISIS Training and Combat
A naturalized U.S. citizen was sentenced Monday to 10 years in federal prison for receiving military training from the Islamic State (IS) and fighting against U.S.-led forces in Syria, according to a Department of Justice press release. U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras in Washington, D.C., sentenced Lirim Sylejmani, 49, originally from Kosovo, to prison followed by lifetime supervised release. (Read More)
Army Offers $10,000 Reward in Death of Black Hawk Pilot in Honduras
The U.S. Army is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for the death of 1st Lt. Marciano Angelo Parisano, a Black Hawk helicopter pilot found dead in Honduras on May 3. Parisano, 25, was serving with the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment at Soto Cano Air Base, near Comayagua. (Read More)
