Israel Strikes Military Tanks in Southern Syria as Sectarian Violence Erupts

Israel's military struck several Syrian tanks in Sweida province on Monday amid escalating violence in the region, where clashes between Sunni Bedouin tribes and Druze fighters have left dozens dead. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage of the airstrike on X and said the operation was carried out to stop the tanks from advancing toward the scene of violent clashes in Sweida, a predominantly Druze city near the Israeli border. Israeli Reservists Capture Alleged IRGC Quds Force Cell in Southern Syria

Israeli troops have captured alleged operatives from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force (IRGC-QF) during a covert cross-border raid in southern Syria, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said. The operation, conducted on July 7 by reservists from the Alexandroni Brigade and the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 504, targeted Tel Kwdana in Syria’s Quneitra province, near the Israeli-Syrian border. Estonia conducted its first-ever HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) test firing on Saaremaa Island in the Baltic Sea on July 11, following four months of preparation, according to the Estonia’s Defence Forces (EDF). The EDF said each rocket successfully struck a bucket-sized target 15 kilometers offshore in under a minute. (Read More)


Trump Unveils NATO Arms Deal to Supply Ukraine With Weapons

President Donald Trump announced Monday that the United States will sell billions of dollars worth of military equipment to NATO allies, which will then transfer much of it to Ukraine as part of efforts to support Kyiv’s defense against Russia. Deadly Assault on Special Forces in Vietnam Left ‘Drag Marks and Blood Trails Throughout the Camp’ | SOF Magazine

In the early hours of August 23, 1968, Special Forces at FOB4 in Da Nang faced one of their deadliest battles. Viet Cong sappers, aided by an insider, infiltrated the camp, killing 16 Americans and wounding 74. Against the odds, Green Berets fought back, holding Marble Mountain and stopping the enemy from overrunning the base. At least 65 enemy fighters were killed in the brutal assault. (Read More)
