Russian Drone Hits Civilians Repairing Roof in Kherson

A Russian drone struck a group of civilians repairing a roof in Kherson, according to a report from Telegrafi and a video shared by Russian military blogs. The video, initially posted on Russia's “Z-blogs,” captures the drone striking a civilian building where several men were working to repair damage from previous attacks. Moments later, the drone explodes on impact. The condition of the civilians remains unknown. (Read More)​​


Israel Strikes Hamas Leader in Hospital as Fighting Spreads in Gaza and Lebanon

Israel said Sunday it killed a senior Hamas official inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis during a targeted strike carried out with the Shin Bet security agency. The military identified the man as Ismail Barhoum, a member of Hamas' political bureau and head of the group’s financial operations in Gaza. China Unveils New Device Capable of Severing Undersea Communication and Power Cables

China has announced the development of a deep-sea device capable of cutting undersea communication and power cables. According to a South China Morning Post report, the tool was developed by the China Ship Scientific Research Centre (CSSRC) and the State Key Laboratory of Deep-sea Manned Vehicles. It is designed to operate at depths of up to 4,000 meters (13,123 feet)—twice as deep as the armored cables that carry 95% of the world’s data traffic typically rest. (Read More)

The U.S. Air Force has confirmed that the F-47, the world’s first crewed sixth-generation fighter, was developed through years of covert testing with two X-plane demonstrators “For the past five years, the X-planes for this aircraft have been quietly laying the foundation for the F-47 — flying hundreds of hours, testing cutting-edge concepts, and proving that we can push the envelope of technology with confidence,” Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ukraine Turns Old Soviet Dogfighting Missiles Into Ground-Based Air Defenses

Ukraine has repurposed its stockpile of Soviet-era R-73 air-to-air missiles into ground-based air defense systems, according to a Forbes report. A recently shared photo from local media shows the system in action, now deployed with Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade. The R-73 is a 105-kilogram, heat-seeking missile originally designed to be launched from MiG-29 and Su-27 fighter jets. It can hit targets up to 30 kilometers away. (Read More)

The United States has lifted a $10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of a senior Taliban leader, Sirajuddin Haqqani, according to Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani.
