Hugging Face Says an AI Agent Breached It, Then Fought Back With AI of Its Own

Hugging Face, one of the biggest platforms for sharing AI models, said an autonomous AI agent breached its production infrastructure, compromising internal datasets and service credentials.

The company described the incident as its first fully AI-driven intrusion and said it used a locally hosted LLM to investigate after commercial frontier models restricted its analysis. It found no evidence that public models, datasets, Spaces, or its software supply chain were compromised. (Read More)​

New U.S. Strikes Hit Iran After Trump Vows Response for Troop Deaths

The U.S. military launched new strikes against Iranian targets on Monday, hitting command centers, maritime capabilities, missile and drone sites, and air defenses, according to CENTCOM.

The strikes followed President Donald Trump’s vow that Iran would pay for the deaths of U.S. service members. Three soldiers were killed last week, including two in an Iranian attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. The Pentagon identified them on Monday as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan and Pvt. Ukraine's Top General May Be Ousted Next as Protests Over the Defense Minister's Firing Grow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is considering replacing Ukraine’s army chief, Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi, amid ongoing protests over the dismissal of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

Fedorov was removed last week following disagreements with military leadership, particularly Syrskyi. Reports said possible replacements for Syrskyi include Air Assault Forces Commander Oleh Apostol, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Volodymyr Horbatiuk, and Joint Forces Commander Mykhailo Drapatyi. ➤ A U.S. Army veteran was arrested after setting off fireworks and starting a fire outside a federal building in New York City that houses several federal agencies, including the FBI and ICE. ➤ President Donald Trump said his new Qatari-gifted Air Force One will undergo a month of upgrades to be “maxed out” with security enhancements after reports that it lacks the missile defenses.
