Israeli Drone Strike Kills Senior Hezbollah Commander in Southern Lebanon
An Israeli drone strike on Sunday targeted Kaouthariyet al-Saiyad, a village located between the coastal cities of Sidon and Tyre, killing a senior Hezbollah operative in southern Lebanon, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The IDF identified the target as Hussein Ali Nasr, the deputy chief of Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, which is responsible for smuggling weapons and funds into Lebanon. (Read More)
US Airstrikes Hit Houthi Sites in Yemen After Deadly Port Attack
The United States launched more airstrikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen on Saturday, hitting the capital, Sana'a and the Red Sea port city of Hodeida. The Houthis said 13 U.S. airstrikes targeted Hodeida’s airport and port and Sana'a. There were no immediate reports of casualties from the group. However, open-source reports, citing the Houthi Ministry of Health, stated that there were 12 people killed and 30 injured in the strikes on the Sha’ab district in Sana'a. (Read More)
IDF Fires Commander After Killing 15 Emergency Workers in Gaza
The Israeli military has dismissed a commander after an investigation found a series of failures led to the deaths of 15 emergency workers in Gaza last month. On March 23, Israeli troops opened fire on a convoy of emergency vehicles in Rafah, in southern Gaza. The convoy included ambulances from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), a UN vehicle, and a fire truck. Fourteen Red Crescent workers and one UN staff member were killed. (Read More)

Russian Drones Destroy French CAESAR Howitzer in Ukraine
Videos circulating on social media showed Russian drones destroying a French-supplied CAESAR 155mm self-propelled howitzer in Ukraine. The CAESAR, built by French company Nexter (now KNDS France), is a mobile artillery piece mounted on a 6x6 truck. It fires NATO-standard 155mm shells up to 55 kilometers and can quickly relocate after firing. Each unit costs around $4 million. (Read More)
British Fighter Jets Intercept Russian Aircraft Near NATO Airspace
British fighter jets intercepted two Russian aircraft near NATO airspace over the Baltic Sea last week, according to the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD).
