Israel and Iran Trade Missile Strikes for Third Day, Civilian Death Toll Rises

Tensions between Israel and Iran escalated further on Sunday, marking the third consecutive day of cross-border missile strikes that have left hundreds dead and injured across both nations. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced it had carried out a targeted airstrike on surface-to-surface missile sites in Iran. “The Air Force is currently attacking surface-to-surface missile sites in central Iran,” the IDF said in a statement posted on X. US Airstrike Kills Islamic State Official in Northwestern Syria

The U.S. military killed an Islamic State (ISIS) official in a drone strike in northwest Syria, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). CENTCOM confirmed the strike in a June 12 statement posted on X. “On June 10, U.S. Central Command Forces conducted a precision airstrike in Northwest Syria killing Rakhim Boev,” the post said. Boeing Facility in Kyiv Damaged in Russian Missile Strike

A building used by U.S. aerospace and defense giant Boeing in Kyiv, suffered significant damage during a major Russian airstrike last week, the Financial Times reported on Sunday. The report, based on six sources including Boeing employees, Ukrainian officials, and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in Ukraine, said the strike appeared to deliberately target the U.S. aerospace company.
