Ceasefire in Doubt as Israel Launches Largest Single-Day Strikes on Lebanon, Killing Over 250

Israel launched its largest single-day strike of the war on Wednesday, hitting over 100 Hezbollah targets across Beirut, southern Lebanon, and the Bekaa Valley and killing at least 254.The attack came just hours after the U.S. and Iran announced a two-week ceasefire.

Iranian officials condemned the strikes, saying they threaten the ceasefire. Separately, Iran struck the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain after UAE jets targeted its Lavan Island refinery. (Read More)


Researchers Say AI Triggers 'Cognitive Surrender' as Users Accept Wrong Answers 80% of the Time

University of Pennsylvania researchers found that AI users accepted incorrect AI-generated answers roughly 80% of the time across more than 9,500 trials involving 1,372 participants. They call the phenomenon "cognitive surrender," where users defer to machine reasoning with little scrutiny.

A separate MIT Media Lab study found that students using ChatGPT showed declining brain activity and produced essays teachers described as "soulless," while those working without AI showed higher neural connectivity and creativity. (Read More)


Ukraine's Ground Robots Hit 9,000 Missions in One Month

Ukraine’s ground robots completed over 9,000 missions in March, up from 2,900 in November 2025, bringing the total to roughly 24,500 for the first quarter. Medics reported conducting an average of six drone-led casualty evacuations per day.

The number of units using unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) has also risen to 167, compared with 67 last year. Commander Andrii Biletsky said UGVs “could replace up to one-third of Ukrainian infantry on the line of contact.” (Read More)

A hacker group claims to have stolen 10 petabytes of classified defense data from China's Tianjin supercomputer, including missile schematics and documents marked "secret." The attacker reportedly gained access through a compromised VPN and extracted data undetected over six months. (Read More)

Russian GRU-backed hackers reportedly compromised hundreds of Wi-Fi routers worldwide, intercepting passwords and emails from intelligence and police agencies across nine countries including the U.S., Canada, and Ukraine. (Read More)

The U.S. Navy requested 785 Tomahawk missiles for $3 billion in fiscal 2027, a 1,200% increase over last year's 58-missile buy. At least 850 Tomahawks have been launched since Epic Fury began and analysts said replacing the stockpile will take two to three years. (Read More)
