Cuba's Entire Power Grid Collapses, Leaving 10 Million in the Dark

Cuba's national electric grid suffered a total collapse on Monday, leaving nearly all of the island's 10 million residents without power. The failure followed the shutdown of the Antonio Guiteras plant, the country's largest generator, after three months without oil deliveries.

The collapse comes days after protesters stormed a Communist Party headquarters in Moron over rolling blackouts and food shortages. President Diaz-Canel confirmed no petroleum shipments have arrived since the U.S. cut off supply. (Read More)


Israel Claims Destruction of ‘Iran Force One’ at Mehrabad Airport

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) claims it destroyed Iran's government Airbus A340-300, the VIP transport known as "Iran Force One," at Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran.

The IAF described the plane as a “strategic asset” of the “Iranian terror regime.” The aircraft, registered as EP-IGA, is believed to have been used by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials. As of this writing, the destruction of the aircraft has not been independently verified. (Read More)
