Russian Deputy Mayor Killed in Suicide Bombing in Stavropol

An alleged sucicide bombing in Stavropol on Thursday killed Deputy Mayor Zaur Aleksandrovich Gurtsiev, a decorated veteran of Russia’s war in Ukraine. The explosion occurred on Chekhova Street at around 7 p.m. local time. Russian investigators confirmed that Gurtsiev, 34, and another man, 29-year-old Nikita Penkov, died in the blast. (Read More)


Thousands Loot UN Food Warehouse in Gaza as Humanitarian Crisis Deepens

Thousands of people stormed a United Nations (U.N.) World Food Programme (WFP) warehouse in central Gaza on Thursday amid severe food shortages. According to WFP, two people were killed and several others were injured in the incident. Footage shared on social media showed thousands of people breaking into the Al-Ghafari warehouse in Deir al-Balah, seizing bags of flour and cartons of food. (Read More)
