A U.S. citizen was shot and killed Thursday after attempting to hijack a small passenger plane in Belize with a knife, according to police. The Cessna Grand Caravan EX took off at 8:17 a.m. local time with 14 passengers and two crew members. Shortly after takeoff, The suspecg pulled a knife and demanded to be flown out of the country.
