Ukraine Hits Russian Radar on Black Sea’s Boyko Towers in Dual Drone Strike

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) carried out a successful drone strike against a Russian-controlled gas platform in the Black Sea, destroying radar equipment and other Russian military assets. In a Telegram post, the operation targeted the Boyko Towers — gas rigs that Russia seized after annexing Crimea in 2014. The SBU’s 13th Main Directorate of the Military Counterintelligence Department led the strike using a combination of air and sea drones. (Read More)​​


Suspected Islamist Militants Kill 23 in in Nigeria’s Borno State

Suspected Islamist militants killed at least 23 farmers and fishermen in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria, on Thursday morning, according to local residents and security sources cited by Reuters. The attack happened in the village of Malam Karanti. Witnesses said the attackers gathered residents, mostly bean farmers and fishermen, and executed them. An elderly man was spared and later informed others about the killings. (Read More)


Hamas Leader Mohammed Sinwar’s Body Found in Gaza Tunnel Hit by IDF Airstrike, Says Report

The body of Mohammed Sinwar, Hamas’s top commander in Gaza, was reportedly found in a tunnel under the European Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, following an Israeli airstrike last week. On Tuesday, the Israeli Air Force targeted a tunnel beneath the hospital where Sinwar was believed to be hiding. Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry reported that 16 people were killed and more than 70 injured in the strike. (Read More)

The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) has completed the first B61-13 nuclear gravity bomb nearly a year ahead of schedule. The bomb was unveiled during a small ceremony at the Pantex Plant, located 20 miles from Amarillo, Texas. U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright applied the final stamp to the bomb’s casing.
