U.S. Warns Iran May Have Activated Sleeper Cells Worldwide

U.S. officials warn Iran could have triggered sleeper agents globally following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a U.S.-Israeli strike.

ABC News reports that encrypted communications, intercepted by U.S. authorities and believed to originate from Iran, appear directed at “clandestine recipients” and may provide instructions to prepositioned sleeper assets operating outside the originating country. Central Israel Hit by Iranian Ballistic Missile with Cluster Warhead

An Iranian ballistic missile struck multiple locations in central Israel on Monday, killing one man and seriously wounding two others, according to Israeli emergency officials.

Cluster munitions were reportedly used in the attack. The weapons release multiple smaller explosive submunitions over a broad area, which can increase the risk to people on the ground. Authorities said at least six locations were struck, including Yehud, Or Yehuda, Holon, and Bat Yam. (Read More)


DARPA’s X-76 Experimental Jet Convertiplane Now Under Construction

The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has officially revealed its latest experimental aircraft, the X-76, under the Speed and Runway Independent Technologies (SPRINT) program.

In a press release, DARPA said the X-76 is now being constructed by Bell Textron, Inc. following a successful Critical Design Review. DARPA said the X-76 must achieve a cruising speed of over 740 km/h, hover in difficult field conditions, and operate from unprepared surfaces. (Read More)
