Airman Arrested After Viral Air Force Review of Sig Sauer M18 Shooting
An airman has been arrested in connection with the July 20 shooting death of Airman Brayden Lovan at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, the Air Force announced Friday. In a statement, the Air Force said the airman is suspected of involuntary manslaughter, obstruction of justice, and making a false statement. The service has not disclosed the individual’s name, and no additional details about the arrest have been released. (Read More)

Ukraine Says Drone Strike Hit Shahed Storage Site in Russia’s Tatarstan
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said that its long-range drones destroyed attack drones and foreign-made components at a warehouse in Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan. The strike, carried out on Saturday, hit a logistics hub in the village of Kizil-Yul, about 1,300 kilometers (800 miles) from Ukraine. Germany Limits Arms Exports to Israel Amid Gaza Takeover Plans
Germany has decided to stop approving new arms exports to Israel that could be used in Gaza. This comes after Israel announced plans to fully take over the territory following nearly two years of fighting with Hamas.
