Russia Uses Shahed Drones to Deploy PTM-3 Anti-Tank Mines in Ukraine

Russian forces are modifying Shahed-series drones to deploy PTM-3 anti-tank mines over Ukrainian territory, according to Ukraine’s National Police. “In the Sumy region, a hostile attack drone shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces was found, which had clusters of anti-tank mines PTM-3 attached under its wings,” the agency said in a social media post. IDF Says it Killed 5 Armed Men Posing as US Aid Workers in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Tuesday it killed five armed men posing as workers for the U.S.-based aid group World Central Kitchen (WCK) in central Gaza last week. The strike in Deir al-Balah occurred after troops spotted the group near a vehicle marked with the WCK logo. According to the IDF, the terrorists wore yellow vests typically worn by WCK staff to disguise their activities and avoid being targeted. (Read More)​​

Smartshooter Secures Major Asia-Pacific Contract for SMASH 3000 Fire Control Systems

Israeli defense technology company Smartshooter has secured a major contract from an undisclosed Asia-Pacific nation for hundreds of SMASH 3000 fire control systems, the company announced on Tuesday. Smartshooter said the system will be used for both counter-small unmanned aircraft systems (C-sUAS) missions and precise engagement of ground targets. (Read More)

Army Sergeant Charged in Fort Stewart Shooting That Injured Five

A U.S. Army sergeant accused of firing on members of his supply unit at Fort Stewart on August 6 has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault, military officials said Tuesday.
