Ukraine Claims First-Ever Capture of Russian Position Using Drones and Ground Robots

For the first time, Ukrainian forces have captured a Russian position using only drones and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, describing the operation as a milestone in the evolution of modern warfare.

“The occupiers surrendered, and this operation was carried out without the participation of infantry and without losses on our side,” Zelenskyy said. The president said various robotic systems, including the Ratel, Termit and Volya, have carried out more than 22,000 missions over the past three months. (Read More)


Philippines Accuses China of Dumping Cyanide in Disputed South China Sea Waters

The Philippines on Monday accused Chinese fishermen of dumping cyanide in disputed waters of the South China Sea near Second Thomas Shoal, locally known as Ayungin Shoal, a long-contested reef where Philippine forces are stationed aboard the BRP Sierra Madre.

Philippine Navy personnel reportedly recovered 10 cyanide bottles from Chinese sampan boats in three separate incidents in 2025. China’s Foreign Ministry denied the allegations, calling them a “stunt.” Manila said it plans to file a formal diplomatic protest against Beijing. (Read More)


IDF Encircles Hezbollah Stronghold in Southern Lebanon

Israeli forces have encircled Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon and carried out close-quarters combat and airstrikes, killing more than 100 Hezbollah operatives. Troops also captured the town’s stadium, where the late Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah delivered a victory speech following the IDF’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000.

Military officials said the operation in Bint Jbeil is expected to conclude within days as forces continue targeting remaining fighters in the area. (Read More)

Ukrainian drones struck the Apatit chemical plant in Cherepovets, northwestern Russia, officials and open-source analysts said Monday. Commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi said the facility is a major chemical producer of ammonia, saltpeter and nitric acid, which are used as raw materials in explosives such as TNT and RDX. (Read More)
